When is student Volunteer Week? 

This year, Student Volunteering week is scheduded between 12th to 18th February 2024, and generally falls in the month of February every year.

How is Volunteering Week Celebrated?

Students in institutions of learning can come up with group initiatives in the form of a society of like-minded individuals to work on a project that impacts the community. It could also be celebtared in the form of events such as charity runs, community cleaning programmes, workshops educating the public on topic of societal importance, or any other event they agree upon.

How do I get Involved?

Your Student Union office would definitely know about some volunteering opportunities going through the volunteering week, but you can also organise colleagues who may want to volunteer and map out a programme you can take to the community. Your student office will be more than willing to support your programme.
