Angela T. Anders

Angela T. Anders grew up being very creative with her mother's influence with her floral design business. She took her time to learn the craft of the trade with her Mom. She later decided that she also had a passion for cooking dinners and especially making desserts. She decided to attend college and graduated from with honors from Cal State Fullerton University. After starting her professional career in Information Technology and working for 5 years, she decided it was time to take her passions seriously and she went to Culinary School at Stratford University in Baltimore with a concentration in Pastry Arts. Angela states, "her Mom and Dad provided financial support so she could live her dreams by opening DC Cakes. The business has not only been success with the locals but commercial businesses using the catering services to treat their employees and clients. She says it is a testimate to the quality of her products and customer service with her team of employees."
